Salted caramel popcorn
one cup of popcorn kernels
pinch of good quality sea salt
120 grams of butter
Make popcorn with a popcorn maker, or on the stove top.
Heat the butter and panela together in a small sauce pan, stir continuously. When it has all melted together add the pinch of sea salt and stir.
Line two baking trays with baking paper. Pour the popcorn across, then add the hot, sticky sugar butter mixture. Wait until it cools slightly, then serve.
Flavour variations - add two teaspoons of chai to the hot mixture or add sprinkles on top....
