chai spiced granola
two cups of oats
hald a cup of grounded pleasures seven spice chai
half a cup of coconut
one cup of nuts of choice (brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, linseeds, poppy seeds, almonds etc)
half a cup of dried fruit (apricots, sultanas, etc).
half a cup of honey
quarter of a cup of tahini (optional)
two teaspoons of vegetable oil.
Preheat oven to 160 degrees
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Combine honey, tahini, chai and vegetable oil in a saucepan over a low heat until just melted.
Put all other ingredients (except for dried fruit into a large mixing bowl and combine. Pour over melted ingredients and stir.
Pour onto baking tray.
Bake for 45 minutes, checking and moving it around with a spoon every ten minutes (otherwise spots will burn) add friend fruit in last five minutes. Please lower heat or reduce cooking time - you will be checking it regularly, so just make sure it does not burn.
Leave to cool before serving.
